   The Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG) - 2025] is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into various undergraduate programs offered by Central Universities under the Ministry of Education, along with other participating universities, institutions, and autonomous colleges.  

This test provides a common platform for students across the country, especially those from rural and remote areas, to gain admission into top universities. With a single examination, candidates can apply to multiple central, state, deemed, and private universities.  

For the academic session 2025-26, CUET (UG) – 2025 will take place from 8th May 2025 to 1st June 2025. Below are all the essential details regarding CUET UG 2025.

Educational Qualification :  

• Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination, or are appearing in 2025, are eligible to apply.  
• Specific eligibility conditions of individual universities should be checked on their respective official websites.  

Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination :  

• Candidates must meet the conditions set by the universities they wish to apply for. Ensure to check university websites for any additional eligibility requirements.  

Age Limit :  

• There is no age limit for appearing in CUET (UG) - 2025. However, candidates must fulfill any age criteria required by their preferred university.

• The application fee depends on the number of subjects chosen by the candidate:

Eligible candidates can apply online through the official NTA CUET website by following these steps :

• Scroll down to the Important Web-Links section.  
• Click on the Online Application Form link.  
• A new webpage will open.  
• Fill in all required personal and educational details.  
• Upload your passport-sized photograph, signature and other necessary documents.  

Pay the application fee based on your category.  Click on Submit and ensure to take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

• Last date of online application : 22nd March 2025 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Issue of Admit Cards : To be announced later
